I was born and raised on a farm in Northern British Columbia but moved to Airdrie, AB in 2007. I enjoyed being a stay at home mom for 10 years, raising my two little girls. I enjoyed teaching fitness classes in my spare time and getting certified as a health coach.
During my time in Airdrie we always seemed to buy and sell a new home every few years. As much as I didn’t enjoy the packing process, I always enjoyed getting a home clean and ready for viewing! I also always knew I wanted to inspire other ladies and be an entrepreneur.
In 2017 when my youngest started school full time I started working for The Pink Wand Cleaning Services (where I met my lovely business partner, Kendra Bryant) while completing my Educational Assistant Certification. During this time my life took some changes and I knew I needed to find something that would help me be financially independent.
Working for Jacqui I was able to see what an awesome community she had built within the company and community and new it was something I aspired for myself! When Jacqui announced she was franchising I felt like it was the opportunity I had been waiting for! Kendra Bryant and I decided to join forces and start our own franchise in Cochrane, AB. Working together previously at the Pink Wand in Airdrie we knew we worked well together and both wanted to support each other through this new opportunity. No great leader walks alone!
I decided to move to Cochrane, AB in June 2019 and bought a home in the community of Heartland where I live with my two girls and my two pups! I love the beauty of Cochrane and its small-town feel reminds me of home (Fort St. John, BC). I look forward to growing our own Pink Wand Team. We strive to provide flexibility, opportunity and a family feel for employees, while providing exceptional cleaning services and support to the Town of Cochrane!

I was born and raised in a beautiful small town in Northern Alberta, Peace River. After high school, I took a year off to work at a local clothing store as this was my dream to own one day. I attended Grande Prairie Regional College to achieve a diploma in Business Administration. I wanted to stay close to home, as I never planned to leave that beautiful place where much of my family still lives.
A few years later, I moved away, got married and had 3 kids. I have yet to find my way back home, but have made Airdrie into my new home. It took many years to do, finding the right people to share your life with wasn’t an easy task. I was fortunate to stay home with my kids for 11 years, did a few home-based businesses to maintain staying home and meeting others in the community was amazing!
After my youngest was in grade 2, I knew it was time to get out of the house part-time. With the help of my best friend, Katy, she persuaded me to start working for her sister at the Pink Wand Cleaning Services. After being there for over a year, my life threw me a curve ball and I knew I had to do something more for my future.
While working at the Pink Wand, I met the lovely Laura Tucker!! With talks of Jacqui franchising, I was inspired right away but also knew I didn’t want to do this journey alone. Laura and I were in very similar life paths and we made the decision to join forces in the world of entrepreneurship! I loved all the ladies I was blessed to work with, in teams of two or three – it made cleaning homes fun!
This business is more than just cleaning homes, it’s building client connections – getting to know their families with kids and pets, it’s being involved in the community, and creating flexible work hours and the perfect work-life balance we all strive to achieve!! I am now a blended family of 8, so owning my own business and being able to create this balance has been absolutely wonderful! I love creating a beautiful, clean home for clients to enjoy after their busy days.
